1. Nature of the Service

Global Broker Registry (“GBR”) is an independent information aggregation and research platform. We compile, curate, and present publicly available regulatory registration data concerning brokerage firms, forex dealers, and investment firms from official regulatory bodies around the world, including but not limited to the FCA (UK), ASIC (Australia), NFA and SEC (USA), CySEC (Cyprus), FSCA (South Africa), MAS (Singapore), FINMA (Switzerland), CIRO (Canada), DFSA (Dubai), FSRA (UAE – ADGM), and FSPR (New Zealand).

GBR is not a financial regulator, government agency, or licensing authority. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any regulatory body listed on this Platform. Information displayed on GBR is provided for general informational and research purposes only. Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial advice, legal advice, investment recommendations, or an endorsement of any firm listed herein.

2. Accuracy and Currency of Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the regulatory data, firm details, and verification statuses shown on this Platform are accurate, current, and sourced from authoritative registers. However, regulatory information can change without notice — licences may be revoked, suspended, or modified at any time by the relevant authority.

We therefore make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, timeliness, reliability, suitability, or availability of any information, product, service, or related graphic contained on the Platform for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.

You should always verify a firm’s current regulatory status directly with the relevant regulatory authority before making any financial decision or engagement with that firm.

3. Trust Scores and Verification Badges

Trust scores and verification badges displayed on GBR are our internal, independently developed signals based on factors such as regulatory standing, firm age, and cross-regulator registration. They are not ratings or assessments issued by any financial regulator or government body, and should not be interpreted as investment advice or guarantees of a firm’s performance, solvency, or conduct.

A “Verified” badge on GBR means only that our team has manually confirmed the regulatory registration details against the relevant official register at the time of review. It does not mean the firm is recommended, endorsed, or free from risk.

4. No Financial or Legal Advice

All content on this Platform is published for general informational purposes. Nothing on GBR should be construed as financial advice, legal advice, or any other form of professional advice. We strongly recommend that you consult a qualified financial adviser or legal professional before making any investment or financial decision.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GBR Operations Ltd and its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Financial losses resulting from decisions made based on information displayed on the Platform
• Losses caused by inaccurate or outdated regulatory information
• Losses arising from your reliance on any third-party links or external resources

This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damage.

This Platform may contain links to external websites, including links to official regulatory registers. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content or availability of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

7. User Submissions

By submitting abuse reports, firm reviews, data corrections, or firm suggestions through this Platform, you:

• Confirm that the information you submit is truthful, accurate, and not misleading
• Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to moderate, publish, anonymise, or remove your submission at our discretion
• Acknowledge that submissions identified as fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, or in bad faith will be rejected or removed without notice
• Understand that submitting false or malicious reports about a firm may cause harm and you accept responsibility for any such submissions

We reserve the right to share user submissions with relevant regulatory bodies or law enforcement authorities if we believe a submission relates to criminal conduct or serious regulatory misconduct.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, data compilations, and software, is the property of GBR Operations Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of this Platform without our express written permission.

Regulatory data derived from official public registers is used in accordance with the applicable open-data or public-interest provisions of those authorities. Any third-party trademarks, service marks, or logos referenced are the property of their respective owners.

9. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use this Platform to:

• Systematically scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform without our express prior written consent
• Submit false, misleading, or malicious information about any firm or individual
• Impersonate any person, firm, or regulatory authority
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, its servers, or associated systems
• Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which GBR Operations Ltd is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
